For meritorious service to the Jerrabomberra Creek Rural Fire Brigade and the New South Wales Rural Fire Service Mr Mark Barrett is nominated for Life Membership of the Jerrabomberra Creek Rural Fire Brigade.

Mark has for a number of years made significant contribution to the ongoing success of the Brigade. A range of technology solutions have been developed by Mark which are still successfully supporting the activities of the Brigade today.

Mark was also instrumental in developing a strong system of governance for the Brigade which even today guides and informs how we manage the Brigade. An ex-Captain, ex-President, and ex-Secretary.

Mark has also undertaken significant operational deployments both locally and out of area assisting communities in need throughout the State as well as inter-state.

Mark's operational experience has been passed on to other Brigade members through he’s extensive efforts in delivery high standard training to both Brigade members and more broadly to other NSW RFS members.
